A lifelong wild child, protecting the natural world is a core mission for Lisa MacLean. Her leadership centers her values of open-heartedness, full-throatedness, joyful generosity, and family first. She and her husband, John, raised their two children on Vashon and now enjoy the island community with her parents.

Lisa is a national award-winning founder and trailblazer. She built and for 26 years led one of America's most successful political communications firms, elected candidates to every level of government, and passed pro-conservation initiatives, among other key victories.

Lisa serves as member-leader of Entrepreneurs' Organization, the world's largest community of business owners and founders, and enjoys hiking, paddling, XC skiing, and power-lifting. She is an amateur gardener and land rewilder.
