Volunteer

We are looking for energetic volunteers to fill the following roles:

  • Work Parties offer a chance to get onto the land and help with such projects as planting trees, pulling weeds, or building trails. A great way to get outdoors, get some exercise and have fun while doing good work. To sign up for email notices, contact Abel Eckhardt at abel@vashonlandtrust.org.
  • Property Steward Teams watch and care for specific places as a small group effort. To discuss a particular preserve or find out which areas are in need of teams, contact Abel Eckhardt at abel@vashonlandtrust.org.
  • Office Helpers can tackle special projects or can offer a regular set of hours for office work. Contact Beth Bordner at beth@vashonlandtrust.org.
  • Education Volunteers can staff booths and help out at community, educational, and fundraising events. Contact Beth Bordner at beth@vashonlandtrust.org.
